The WordPress platform can have its functionality extended using ‘plugins’ which add new features. In the spirit of open source development, these plugins are stored in the WordPress repository and are available to all users. These are plugins which I have contributed to:
OS Data Hub Maps
I am the author and maintainer of OS Data Hub Maps which allows Ordnance Survey maps to be inserted into a page or post using the OS Data Hub platform. OS maps provide a much greater level of topographical detail than Google or Bing maps, and are ideal for walking, cycling and other outdoor activities. Find out more on the plugin documentation page.
OS OpenSpace Maps
The OS OpenSpace Maps plugin is now in maintenance mode. OS withdrew the OpenSpace service and it was shut down completely in August 2021. The Data Hub plugin uses the same shortcode, so there should be a relatively painless transition.
